У пачатку лета 2000 года мы, некалькі лекараў Магілёва, якія ўжо многа гадоў ведалі адзін другога, вырашылі стварыць грамадскую прафесійную арганіза- цыю. Патрабаваўся нейкі час, каб правесці арганізацыйную падрыхтоўку. І вось у жніўне адбыўся ўстаноўчы сход. На ім было прынята рашэнне аб стварэнні грамадскага аб'яднання "Лекарскі саюз". У склад арганізацыі ўвашлі лекары розных спецыяльнасцей з розных устаноў горада. Членамі арганізацыі з'яўляюцца, напрыклад, галоўны гематолаг, галоўны рэнтгенолаг, загадчыкі аддзяленняў розных шпіталёў і паліклінік горада.

15 студзеня 2001 года арганізацыю зарэгістравалі ва Упраўленні юстыцыі Магілёўскага абл- выканкама. Гарвыканкам выдзяліў Саюзу памяшканне.

"Лекарскі саюз" вырашыў: калі ня зможам па-асобку, то разам - зможам! Калі цяжка альбо немагчыма прыняць рашэнне аднаму, пераадолець па-аднаму якую-небудзь праблему, то, калі падумаць над ёй разам, прааналізаваць яё, аб'яднацца, можна разам зрабіць тое, што аднаму цяжка.

Мэта "Лекарскага саюза"

зводзіцца да таго, каб аб'яднаць грамадзян Магілёва, якія маюць вышэйшую медыцынскую адукацыю і прыхільныя дэмакратычным каштоўнасцям, на вырашэнне задач прафесійнага, сацыяльнага і гуманітарнага зместу, для садзейнічання ў творчай і прафесійнай самарэалізацыі, самаадукацыі членам арганізацыі.

Задачы "Лекарскага саюза"

збор, аналіз і распаўсюджанне інфармацыі медыцынскага і экалагічнага характара сярод грамадска актыўнай часткі насельніцтва Магілёўскага рэгіёна,

распаўсюджанне інфармацыі аб паследствах аварыі на Чарнобыльскай АЭС, іх уплыў на здароўе людзей і навакольнае асяродзе, а таксама аб сучасным стане спраў у гэтай сферы на тэрыторыі Магілёўскага рэгіёна,

актуалізацыя праблемаў, якія выяўляюцца ў ходзе працы з інфармацыяй, і прапанова рашэнняў, у тым ліку з удзелам органаў улады, NGO і іншых зацікаўленых бакоў,

развіццё розных формаў і механізмаў дыялога паміж NGO і орга намі мясцовай улады.

Мэтавая группа "Лекарскага саюза"

«Лекарскі саюз», у рамках сваіх праграм і праектаў, працуе з медыцынскай грамадскасцю, прадстаўнікамі памежных абласцей чалавечай дзейнасці, актывістамі NGO і прэсы .

The "Doctors' League" unites many leading doctors of Mogilev who, at the same time, displayed themselves as public - active people.

Sphere of interests of the "Doctors' League" - reforms in social and professional (medical, of Public Health Care) areas and increase, for this purposes, of the civil activity of people, first of all the doctors and other representatives of local intelligence. In particular, the "Doctors' League" from the moment of the state registration began the vigorous activity from increase of professional and public potential of the Mogilev physicians (round tables, working meetings, conferences, release of the specialized bulletins), got thus support of city and the regional Department on Public Health services. Besides, in 2001, under the initiative of the "Doctors' League" and our partners, the dialogue between a number of the largest NGOs of cities and the local executive authority was begun.

As a whole, the "Doctors' League" solves the following problems:

Gathering, the analysis and distribution of the information of medical and ecological
nature among socially active part of the population of Mogilev region,

Enlightening and Education and formation in the surrounding of physicians of the Mogilev
region;

Actualization of the problems revealed during work with the information and the offer of
decisions, including with participation of authorities, NGOs and other interested parties,

Development of various forms and mechanisms of dialogue between NGOs and bodies
of local authorities.

Lately the following projects were realized:

Seminar for surgeons of Mogilev "Ultrasonic Diagnostics of Urgent States" (April, 2001); The "Medical Class" - classes with 35 teenagers on hygiene, mutual and self-assistance at traumas, struggle against harmful habits (January - May 2001);

The "Koncilium" - the Project directed on increase of civil activity of physicians of Mogilev . It was supported by the American fund Counterpart (May -August, 2001);

Edition of the bulletin "Chernobyl And Health" - the collection of materials on influence nocuous a post-Chernobyl factors on health of the population of the Mogilev region, prepared by local scientific and practicing doctors (November, 2001);

Edition of the bulletin "Colleagues" for doctors of the regional center (since May 2001
until present time)

Public campaign "Cleanliness of the Polykovichy Spring", was supported by the
Milieukontakt ( Holland ). The Campaign was realized in December, 2001 - March, 2002.

The Project "Dialogue And the Partnership" directed on forming of potential partner
interactions of a society and local authorities on the solution of urgent social problems. It is supported by the World Bank, under realization since April 2002 on present time

The "Doctors' League " in its work closely cooperates with the largest public associations of the Mogilev region. In particular, our partners are the Mogilev public unions the "Circle of Friends", the women's Center of Support And Self-education, ecological information association "ENDO" and others.
